CHUMUR BENEFIT CONCERT WITH PETER ROWAN
On Sunday, Februry 11, 2007, Padma Shedrup Ling hosted a benefit concert to help fund the restoration and expansion of Chumur Monastery, traditional seat of the Venerable Chhoje Rinpoche, in Ladakh.
Famed singer and songwriter PETER ROWAN performed his eclectic mix of bluegrass, folk, and country rock, and narrated a slideshow about Chumur Monastery and the restoration project. A silent auction rounded out the evening.

In April, Peter was in Boulder, Colorado for another concert to benefit Chumur. Both events were well-attended, the music was absolutely great, and the restoration projects at Chumur received a generous donation.
